Attention all Dorris residence and those passing through, Hwy 97 is scheduled for a detour route on May 17th (and possibly the 18th) 2026 for railroad repair and maintenance. Traffic will be rerouted from Dorris Hill  to W4th St then directed back to the Hwy.

UC-Berkeley and UC Cooperative Extension are seeking input from livestock producers and interested parties who live in California on the future of the wolf-livestock compensation program that was established in 2021.All survey responses are anonymous, and any data collected will be securely housed at UC and shared only in aggregate form. The Rabies vaccination clinic will be held on Saturday June 6th, 2026 1:00pm to 3:00pm. It will be held at the City Hall (307 S Main Dorris, Ca 96023) it will cost $35.00 per dog.
